Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to work carried out by Anthony & Sons Mechanical. If anything here is unclear, call the office before work begins rather than afterwards.

Quotes and estimates

Quotes are based on the information available when they are prepared. Where a site visit has not taken place, figures are indicative until we have seen the work. If something is found during the job that changes the price, we stop and tell you before continuing.

Work and approval

Nothing is replaced and no additional work is carried out without your approval. Approval may be given in writing, by email, in the client app, or on site to the attending technician.

Access and site conditions

We need safe access to the equipment and a safe place to work. Where access is blocked, power is unavailable, or site conditions prevent the work going ahead, a return visit may be chargeable.

Payment

Invoices are payable on the terms stated on the invoice. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

Warranty

Equipment we supply carries its manufacturer warranty, and we will handle warranty claims for what we have supplied. Our workmanship is warranted for the period stated on your invoice or quote. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, interference by others, lack of maintenance, or conditions outside our control.

Emergency and out-of-hours work

Emergency and out-of-hours attendance may be charged at a different rate, which we will tell you when you call rather than putting it on the invoice afterwards.

Liability

We carry insurance appropriate to the work we do, and a certificate of insurance is available on request. We are not liable for loss of stock, profit or business caused by equipment failure, except where that failure results from our negligence.
